Winifred’s main areas of practice include dispute resolution, shipping, aviation, insolvency, corporate secretariat services and taxation. In the course of her practice, she has gained invaluable civil and commercial litigation experience across the hierarchy of courts in Nigeria. Winifred’s experience includes representing clients in the trial and appellate courts on matters relating to her key areas of practice.
She also advises clients on these areas of law, as well as in corporate governance, employment, tax and intellectual property. Winifred was also involved in a landmark Judgment on the charge of stamp duties, on the bank deposit of business proceeds in banks and a landmark Judgment of the Supreme Court on the limitation period whilst litigation is pending in Court.
Her organizational skills and keen attention to detail are key in this regard to ensure that she achieves her client’s desires.
